The things everyone asks

Is this the same as a copyright or a patent?
No — it's what comes before them. Copyright and patents are downstream records; they prove you filed something at a registrar. A QIP® certificate proves the moment your idea existed. It sits above and before every other IP mechanism. If you later go on to patent or copyright the same work, your QIP certificate becomes your priority evidence — proof you had it first.
Is this a blockchain product?
No — and deliberately so. Blockchains only record that a hash existed at a moment in time. They can't measure your content, can't classify it, and can't verify without staying online. QIP® Vortex gives you stronger guarantees without needing any ledger, any mining, any transaction fees, or any network at all. The certificate stands on its own mathematics.
Will this hold up in court?
Yes. Every certificate is designed as evidence of prior creation under the Berne Convention and international IP law. Because the proof is mathematical and self-verifying, it doesn't rely on our word or our servers — it stands on its own.
What if someone steals my file after I certify it?
Doesn't matter. Your certificate proves the exact date and time you had the exact version of that file. Anyone who later claims it as theirs will have a timestamp that comes after yours — and that's the whole point.
Can you see my work?
No. It's held in temporary memory for the mathematical analysis and then permanently deleted, usually within seconds. Nobody at QIP® Vortex ever reads, watches, or listens to what you upload.
What if I lose the certificate?
You can re-download it any time from your dashboard. And even if you couldn't, the same file re-uploaded to Verify will always show you as the owner.

Enter creator information. A title for your work, a description, and choose whether the certificate will be public or private. This choice is permanent — once set, it cannot be changed.

Upload your file. The engine detects its format, extracts structural signals, normalises them to a fixed 256-element mathematical shape, detects Still Points, and produces your unique 64-character hash along with seventeen deterministic measurements. Your original file is not permanently retained.

Path B — Email

BCC & Receive

If you have a registered QIP® Vortex account, add to the BCC field of any email you send — or send an email directly to that address. The system identifies you by your registered email address, analyses the body text of your message, generates the certificate, and replies with the PDF. Your recipient never sees the BCC. No browser required.

The BCC route certifies the words of your email — the thought as expressed in the message body itself. Attachments on this route are not processed; if you need to certify a file, use Path A. This separation keeps each route architecturally clean and predictable: files go to the engine, words go through email.

Creator
Your name, permanently linked to this certificate by your immutable user identity. Ownership is keyed to your account — not your email address — and cannot be transferred or disputed by email reuse.
Legal Position
A formal statement establishing this certificate as evidence of prior creation under the Berne Convention, the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and applicable international intellectual property law. Rights vest in the creator at the moment of creation. This certificate proves that moment.
Bind Number
Your certificate's sequential position in the global register. Format: QIP-BIND-YYYY-NNNNNNN (seven-digit zero-padded). Issued from an atomic sequence — no two certificates can ever share a number. Every idea bound anywhere in the world increments the universal counter by one, and that counter can never go down. Your position is permanent and proves how early your participation in the system began. Bind #1 will always be Bind #1.

Zero-Storage Architecture

The proof persists. The substance does not.

Your content is loaded into temporary memory for mathematical analysis. The engine computes the numerical outputs — the fingerprint, the seventeen metrics, the coordinates, the timestamp, the value. These outputs are recorded. Your original content is deleted from memory within sixty seconds.

It is not stored. It is not cached. It is not logged. It is not transmitted to any secondary system. It does not persist in any form after processing completes. This is not a policy decision subject to future change — it is a structural constraint. There is no storage infrastructure, no database designed to hold your content, no way to retrieve it.

What this eliminates: data breach exposure (nothing to breach), GDPR right-to-deletion complexity (deletion is architectural, not procedural), cross-border content flow restrictions (only the mathematical proof crosses borders, never the content itself), subpoena exposure (no content to produce in response to legal process), and storage cost scaling (zero, regardless of certification volume).

Every certificate carries a self-referential integrity seal (H7) that recomputes from the certificate itself. Anyone holding the PDF can verify its integrity by recomputing the seal from the other components — no registry, no server, no network, no blockchain, no company required. The certificate is the proof. This is the mathematical guarantee: if every QIP® Vortex system on Earth were switched off tomorrow, every certificate ever issued would remain fully verifiable, offline, forever.

Why We Bypass Blockchain

Blockchain records that a hash existed at a point in time. It does not measure content, does not classify it, does not compute the seventeen deterministic metrics, and does not assign a coordinate in a mathematical manifold. It also carries real costs and dependencies: mining or staking, transaction fees, network participation, and infrastructure that must remain online for verification to work at all.

QIP® Vortex provides equivalent temporal guarantees without any of those dependencies — plus five additional functions (measurement, classification, valuation, positioning, self-verification) that blockchain does not perform. What Makes This Different

The hash is a pure function of content. No randomness, no external state, no server-time dependency enters the computation. The same file produces the same 64-character hash every time, on any machine, under any conditions. Provable by anyone with the original file.
Tamper-evident.
Any modification to the original work — a single byte changed, a pixel shifted, a character added — cascades through the entire hash. The certificate proves the exact content that existed at the exact moment of certification.
Immutable.
Once a certificate is generated, it cannot be edited, reissued, or revoked. The PDF bytes are stored as-is. The bind number is write-once. The public/private choice is enforced by a database trigger that prevents any change after creation. Immutability is architectural, not policy.

Every payment is guarded by a unique constraint on your account and hash. A double-click, a page refresh, or a network retry cannot charge you twice for the same work. Submit the same file twice, receive the same certificate — never a second bill.
Self-verifying.
The H7 integrity component enables any party to verify certificate integrity without access to the original content, without any server, without any network. The certificate IS the proof.
Format-agnostic.
Text, documents, PDFs, images, audio, video, code — the engine accepts them all. Each format routes to a specialised analyser, then everything normalises to the same 256-element mathematical shape before hashing. The output is always a 64-character hash regardless of input type.
Quantum-immune.
The mathematical constants and metric formulae depend on algebraic identity, not on computational hardness. Quantum computers cannot make irrational numbers rational or violate the identity τ + τ² = 1. The architecture is post-quantum by construction, not by policy.
Zero-storage.
Content is held in volatile memory for less than sixty seconds and then permanently deleted. Only the mathematical identity persists. This is the property that eliminates the entire class of storage-based liabilities that plague every competing verification system.
Blockchain-bypass.
